option when it comes to curbing.
We evolved in 1964, when brothers Sterling, Robert and John Ruhlman became tired of struggling in the logging business. Each worked tirelessly to raise their growing families, so they decided to try concrete work.
After eleven years of pouring floors, sidewalks, walls and curbing they were presented with the opportunity to purchase a curb machine which they did in 1975. At that time, this was the only slip form curb machine in the area. The first few years were a bit of a learning curve, but before long, and with the help of their sons, they mastered their craft. They developed numerous trade techniques which are still unique to our company. With the help of their sons, they soon went from pouring 100,000 lf of curb per year to pouring as much as 700,000 lf a year.
After selling the business to their sons, Jeff, Rainee, Bruce, Troy and Justin near the turn of the century, they retired to a more leisurely life style.
Since that time, the same tradition of service, quality and quantity that built this company many years ago continues. To date, we have poured over eighteen million linear feet of curb. We are confident that this tradition will not only continue but continue to grow. We invite you to join our family of satisfied customers and see for yourself the advantages of using Ruhlman Bros. Inc. When it comes to quality workmanship, the fastest service and the most cost effective way to do your job go with the originators, not the imitators, Go with Ruhlman Bros.,Inc.

Wet cut saw technique. Wet concrete is cut while it is still in the plastic state. Sawing while the concrete is still green does a much better job controlling the contraction joints.
